# TT fabric manager quick start guide

Fabric Manager runs a set of agents, responsible for discovering local TT fabric
topology, and a central controller, which exposes an API used to retrieve
information about and interact with TT fabric. See the [architecture description](architecture.md)
and [API overview](api-overview.md) for more details.

## Fabric Manager deployment

Currently the recommended method for deploying Fabric Manager is via
[tt-operator](https://docs.tenstorrent.com/tt-operator/).

## Interacting with Fabric Manager

CLI is the simplest way to interact with the Fabric Manager service. A Fabric Manager
CLI client is included in the official container images. To use it you'll need
to take note of the FM controller address in your deployment, the example assumes
that it is `ttfm.example.com:80`.
