# tt_dispatch_utilization_percent [<< Home](../index.md) | [<< Metrics](../metrics.md) ## Name ### Prometheus Metric Name ``` tt_dispatch_utilization_percent ``` ### Metric Path (tt-telemetry) Schema: ``` {hostname}/tray{tray}/chip{chip}/cq{cq}/tt_dispatch_utilization_percent ``` Example path: ``` bh-glx-c09u02/tray1/chip2/cq0/tt_dispatch_utilization_percent ``` ## Description The fraction of time, expressed as a percentage, that a specific command queue (CQ) was actively running any work over the last telemetry collection interval. The device firmware computes this as `work_runtime / uptime` and tt-telemetry scales it to a percentage. It is the per-CQ analogue of [tt_dispatch_core_efficiency_percent](tt_dispatch_core_efficiency_percent.md): use it to identify which command queue is (or is not) driving device activity. A separate metric is emitted for every command queue the chip can support (`cq0`, `cq1`, ...), up to the chip's maximum number of hardware CQs. The set is fixed regardless of how many CQs a running program actually configured; queues absent from a given read report their default value. Dispatch telemetry is only available on chips whose firmware bundle is at version `19.12.0` or newer. This value further requires worker dispatch to be enabled by the running workload — when it is disabled the underlying reading is unavailable and the metric reports its default value of `0`. ## Values **Type:** Double **Units:** Percent (%) **Allowable values:** A value from `0.0` to `100.0`. For example, `80.0` means the command queue was actively executing work 80% of the interval. `0` is also reported when worker dispatch is disabled, the CQ was not present in the read, or dispatch telemetry could not be read this cycle. ## Prometheus Labels |Label Name|Value| |---|---| |hostname|The host from which the metric was collected.| |hall|The datacenter hall where the host is located. Sourced from the Factory System Descriptor (FSD).| |aisle|The datacenter aisle where the host is located. Sourced from the Factory System Descriptor (FSD).| |rack|The rack number where the host is located. Sourced from the Factory System Descriptor (FSD).| |shelf_u|The shelf U position in the rack where the host is located. Sourced from the Factory System Descriptor (FSD).| |tray|The tray (UBB) that the device is located on.| |chip|The ASIC location within the tray.| |cq|The hardware command queue index (`0`, `1`, ...).| |unit|The unit of measurement. Always `"%"` for this metric.|
