sep_rom_interface_shim
Forward the SEP ROM memory_interface struct onto a prim_rom macro.
ROM_ADDR_WIDTH defaults to 10 (1K 64-bit entries). Forwards read requests from mem_req_i into macro_req_o / macro_addr_o and returns macro_rdata_i on mem_rsp_o. Every request is granted at once and answered with rvalid one cycle later. Writes never reach the macro; they are acknowledged and otherwise ignored.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
ROM_ADDR_WIDTH | int unsigned | 10 | ROM address width; default 10 for 1K entries. |
Ports
| Name | Direction | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
clk_i | input | logic | System clock. |
rst_ni | input | logic | Active-low reset. |
mem_req_i | input | sep_sram_req_t | Memory request from the SEP memory_interface; byte address, 64-bit data. |
mem_rsp_o | output | sep_sram_rsp_t | Memory response: gnt always high, rvalid one cycle after any request, rdata from the ROM macro. |
macro_req_o | output | logic | Read request to the ROM macro (prim_rom); high only for read requests. |
macro_addr_o | output | logic [ROM_ADDR_WIDTH-1:0] | ROM word address: the request byte address divided by eight. |
macro_rdata_i | input | logic [SEP_MEM_DATA_WIDTH-1:0] | ROM read data, returned one cycle after macro_req_o. |
